JWT pop charger install... My take:
This is my 2nd VQ engine, the first being in my 02 maxima. Personally I love the intake mod, for sound if for nothing else.
Thoughts on the JWT:
Great product!!!! Easy install...it took me under an hour to get the thing on. No problems with fitment.
I don't know where people were having problems with screws going into plastic...something about using hot nails or something.
I simply used the screws provided and a shorty screw driver and they went into the plastic like butter.
Perhaps JWT improved the design? There were also two black rubber insulators that attached to the heat sheild. Nice fit!
Took it out for a quick spin...literally barely got to 5k in 2nd. The sound is great...not that loud at all. The Injen on my maxima was louder.
A++ for this product.

I had the Injen CAI on my 02 maxima. It looked really cool, but it was kinda a pain to clean the filter and it soaked up a TON of heat from the engine. I decided to go pop this time, and I'm VERY happy. The Z is set up a little better, and the air inlet points right at the filter....and the heat sheild seems to do the trick.
So save yourself $100+ and get yourself the JWT.

Pop in Roadster should = yes...
As a recent switch from AEM to Popcharger (aka PoopChanger) I have to agree with all that's being said.
1.) Easier to Clean then all other CAI
2.) Best Value then all other CAI ($210 for AEM?!)
3.) Easiest Install (I had to take off my dang wheel well for AEM)
4.) Best all around gains... see the dynos - results are obvious
5.) Great name and reputation - you cannot go wrong with JWT
5 reason why it's just better with the Pop.

I also switched from Injen CAI to JWT Pop Charger. In addition, I have the Stillen SS Air Guide. Wish there would have been a way of measuring the air flow before and after this addition. The Air Guide opening is at the "Air Inlet".

Installed mine this weekend. The only concern I have is the MAF tube and the connector/cable flex quite a bit. The Pop charger brace does not prevent the assembly from flexing up and down..Anyone else notice this?

Thanks for the input on the Roadster fit. I just made a grounding kit and installed it and my JWT pop-charger gets here on Thurs. I had heard that there was some trouble fitting the Nismo CAI in the Roadster because of the cross-strut-bar-thingy, but I thought they looked exactly the same as on a coupe.
Anyway, thanks for the info.
