Rt Cats
Technically, you aren't supposed to upgrade cats unless you have more than 50,000 miles on the car or the stock cats got damaged. But there are a lot of people that have them, and I would guess they are easier to get through an inspection than test/race pipes
The sound from the cats is amazing. And the power increase is noticeable throughout the RPM range. I haven't had a chance to dyno my car at all yet, but there are several dyno charts floating around this site if you feel like searching.
Well worth the upgrade. I passed emissions with the cats and the Borla True Dual system.

actually i've recently had a problem with my rt cats but that doesn't mean they're all lame. I definitely felt like they improved performance. That being said, in retrospect, I have to wonder why i didn't get test pipes in the first place. If you're willing to increase pollutants and risking smog violation, then why not go all the way.
I my be wrong here, but I think way more people are using the RT's, hence...there are most examples of defects.
It just seems odd becuase RT has been making high flow cats for years and years...and I have never heard anything bad about them until here..on this forum.
