My 2cents here is that instead of retaining heat pass the heat down the exhaust system. If the manifold is retaining the heat it will make the exhaust system even hotter than one passing the heat on. And since there will be no heat sheild to protect from heat, I prefer to have the cooler of the two manifolds.

 

Just a added note, I contacted jet hot and was pleased with the quote they gave for coating the headers, est of 190.00 the pair in thier sterling coating (looks like chrome). And by the way acording to thier site it also provides gain in horsepower by running cooler. I will send mine out as soon as they arrive.

 

I went ahead and placed an order for a set....backordered until first week of June, but worth a shot. I hope I get them.

I ordered a pair a couple of days ago. I'm not copying, I just found this forum. The stainless ones were cheap. My order mysteriously got cancelled once. But when I called they said it was by accident. They are now backordered to mid june.
