There are several to choose from. Nismo, Crawford or Stillen. All have proven gains.

Crawford hands down.

FYI, BJ switched from NISMO to Crawford on their racecars.

I have seen more hp gains from people using stillen. But I also heard that they are heavy. They look real nice too. And the price is good for the hp gains they get. The nismo's would be a waste of money unless you are trying to go all out on nismo appeal.

Can't Beat the price of the ceramic DC headers. I only paid like $269 plus tax. They look great and there is a real increase in mid to upper RPMs.

the DC Headers are actually pretty nice... I just got a few of them and have been inspecting them... better quality welds and bends then another company's headers out there...

but... my favorite are still the NISMO when it comes to pipe diamater and quality...

next would be the Crawford but the fact that the motor has to be lifted off its mounts does not appeal to me on the install... neither does the cost...

stillen and dc sports are the next ones i would pick...

borla are last on my list simply because they are not equal length...

PM me for special pricing on DC Headers shipped! in stock

This comment is a bit biased seeing as how the Crawford headers are only $70 more than the Nismos, and if I can install them in my own garage by myself on jack stands with no air tools, then so can any shop with good tools and a lift. The install is really not much different from any other headers, except for removing a couple extra nuts. For the extra $70 and the added gains, if you are willing to pay for headers look no further than the Crawford's, especially if you plan on adding cams.

Default Stillen Headers

I just had my stillen headers installed 2 weeks ago. They have prven gains and the quality is 2nd to none. Of course I will be biased because I own them but before I bought them I saw a pair next to some Nismo headers and some Borla headers. The stillen just looked more sturdy, real clean welds, overal good quality. I didn't see the reason why I should pay 300 more for the Nismo headers when the stillen ones looked better. And I felt that the quality in the headers was enough that it was worth to pay more for them than save on the Borla headers.

Also, for those that believe installing headers is a do it at home thing. Think again. Everywhere I went said it was at least a 6 hour job. Nissan and some other race shops (Jotech) said it was an 8 hour job. I finally went to 350zforums.org and they installed them at the best price. I was there for the instalation and it is a b*tch. If you don't have a lift it is going to be extremely dificult. The alternator bracket and the surounding housing had to be removed. The intake had to be removed. Hoses rerouted. Lots of work. As for the rest of the exhuast, piece of cake. But the headers are difficult.

I got the DC headers at Summit Racing Here in Reno. The link is http://www.summitracing.com. The Summit Part # is DCS-NHC4201. A freind and I installed the headers on a pair of jackstands. It was a Big pain in the @$%, But it can be done. All you need is A GOOD selection of tools, a day and just take your time. Several of the Header and Cat. bolts are a pain to get to and you can only get an 1/8th of a turn on the wrench at a time. Again, It takes about a day. Also, I removed the radiator tube that runs along the pass. side of the motor. It made the pass. side ALOT easier.

I still do not understand how you got that price... it must have been a demo or pre-installed orsomething... i wish i could buy them for that much from DC as a distributer... you sure that wasnt a special case sale?

Like the price on the DC Headers, in looking at some dynos by members here, they didn't seem to gain as much torque down low as others, though. But they are probably the best deal of all the headers as far as bang for the buck. Love to see a dyno of the stillen headers, for their price and advertised results, they look to be a good deal also.

So far, we mostly see results with N/A on headers, I have to wonder which ones go best with an SC.
