Dualing exhausts audio clip: Greddy Evo2 v. Injen straight tip
I met up with kcobean yesterday evening so that we could get an audio clip comparing our two exhausts.
A brief synopsis of the clip:
We each did a series of revs, one to around 3-4K, one to 5K and one to 6K rpm. kcobean went first, then me. Then just for the heck of it, we decided to destroy your speakers by doing a rev together at the end...
First exhaust (kcobean): Greddy Evo2 w/ RT cats
Second one (me): Injen straight-tip, Kinetix test pipes, Crawford v.5 plenum
Special thanks to Kelly for bringing the audio equipment and hosting it.
Be nice to his server, Right click...Save as...

Perhaps next week. The Z will be leaving for Montreal tomorrow morning, but will be back early next week... The Greddy sounds much smoother, but that's most likely because he has the high-flow cats instead of my test pipes.

man the input gain is way to high -- massive distortion. may i suggest you reduce the input gain. if you dont have control over that, then maybe back off whatever the recording device's mic is from the exhaust tips... like wayyy back
