The question is does your grounding kit even work? And will you really notice that ~3hp loss? And yes I have one also.

i always just kinda thought of my grounding kit as a "peace of mind" mod. i know that sounds stupid, but like you said, who sees a difference. it's just since it's there i can go "yep, got that. no stray currents for me".

or, to put it in Adam Sandlerese: "STRAY CURRENT BAAAAADDD!!! GROUNDING KIT GOOOODDD!!!! STOP LOOKING AT ME, SWAN!!!"

...it's been a long night....

lol.

I have the new 7 wire grounding kit, I started with 5.

Now when I park my car I ground one wire to an old metal post that goes 12 feet into the earth.

It's a PITA when I go cruising but at least it's grounded when it's home and there aren't any extra currents floating around my car to fade the paint.

Sure add an extra Ground wire from the throttle body to Chassis ground.. Can't hurt..

Chris McCagle.. tried one.. Then located the problem was a V1 crack.. But it can't hurt to have one..

Several people say a aditional ground from Chassis Gnd to AT5 Transmission.. helps overcome noise as the Transmission computer talks with the ECU...

Cheers Amy -
