Helix test pipes are the way to go for good gains, especially if your getting exhaust and they dont throw any CEL. They go for about $250

The Helix pipes go for about $170 plus shipping. If you paid $250 for yours, you got screwed.

If you going to go with the Invidia2 exhaust why not just go with the Invidia test pipes? You can't hate on something you have never tryed. Also, I am wondering why no one has tryed out the injen test pipes either. I also would think about the APS setup. I am thinking of changing my order and trying to get the APS exhaust and test pipes now.

Just FYI Crawford cats are made by a company called walker. Crawford does all the welding and bending, I heard they have an excellent fit.

Where have you seen injen test pipes? I haven't been looking around alot on here lately for new parts bc the weather has been nice and I'm sick of wasting time being on the computer. I did go to injen's site and didn't see the test pipes for the Z. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, but if you have a link to them could you post it? I can't decide if I want test pipes or a hi-flow cat...guess I need to decide if I feel like changing out the test pipes every year at emissions time! Plus I don't know if I feel like taking the chance of getting the fine for not having on cats.

I think what i am going to do is go with the Invidia V2 exhaust (true dual), and get the test pipes from Invidia and see what kind of gains i get, supposidly invidia is claiming 14rwhp from the exhaust itself soo..well have to see once i get it, i was also leaning towards the RT cats, my friend owns a shop and distributes them (emision friendly), and whenever i need to go in for an inspection or something ill throw in the RT cats. But from what you all are saying is Kinetix and Crawford cats seem to be the best? why is this?

I would go with the Invidia test pipes. But if you do not want to go with them try the APS test pipes when they come out. I am just worried about getting caught with them on at the dealership when I take it in for inspection or oil change. They are **** these days about this stuff. I don't know of any real good cats yet because everyone seems to be having problems with RT's and have no info on Crawford's or the other companys.

well i was at Jeffs shop Evolution and he was telling me the RT cats are the way to go, good price and good gains...so i might try out the invidia test pipes, but whenever i go to the dealership and they need to look at my car i will just swap them with the other ones...shouldn't be that hard...with the correct tools that is..

you would be crazy going with RT's given all of the problems....if you go testpipes you will get a rasp and then deal with emissions....if you go with a high-flow like crawford you will have no worries....in any case...you will definately see noticeable gains whatever you decide on....its a great mod for this car

Well when i was over at Evolution auto sports jeff was telling me everyone of his customers that has RT cats hasn't bad problems yet...he thinks RT just threw out a bad bach of cats and he doesn't think he got any of them...i dunno im still debating between the invidia test pipes and RT cats, but if the invidia test pipes are expensive i will go helix test pipes...

I've got KINETIX Cats and Plenum with stock exhaust. The KINETIX cats make the stock exhaust sound like a Borla system. I'll be getting an Injen SES system in the near future though.
