Who makes a 3" exhaust?
I got my JIC Y-pipe installed, and I believe it has a 3" outlet. I want to get a 3" y-pipe back exhaust to mate up perfectly to the y-pipe flange. I do NOT want single exhaust. Any ideas?

I'd go with the JIC Spartan Type 2.
IMO, it looks quite clean-it has that OEM German look. It's also available in full titanium if you wanna fork out some serious bread.

JIC is the only one with 80mm a little bigger than 3" piping but it is only a single exhaust.
most of the others are 60mm the Veilside is 60mm - 70mm.

Here's a pic of the spartan type 2. It's a muffler with dual tips:

Just the singles or the duals too? My duel Greddy Evo2 is about 2.5inch at most. I know the Nismo is 3inch, but its a single pipe back.
I also would be interested in a true dual design wtih 3inch piping from the cat back.

would 3 inch dual be overkill? Would 3inch single be equally effective as a 2.25-2.5inch dual?

i got the new magnaflow ss dual exhaust for the redline tv thing on spike tv and they did a before and after dyno that showed an 11whp and 12 tq gain.. using the stock 2.5 pipe diameter..it was pretty suprising!
info on that exhaust can be found here:
http://www.magnaflow.com/05news/news/redlinetv.htm
they said they tried almost every different pipe diameter but the 2.5 showed the best gains.
