Here's the picture when it's all done. Hmmmnn... can you see something that doesn't belong to a 30K sports car? It looks professional to me.

If I did this, I would use black PVC tape ("electrical tape") instead of the masking tape. Otherwise, that looks like a pretty good idea.

can't even see it

Cool, didn't realize you put the other part back over it.

I admit, I skim thru most of this stuff, I don't have a lot of time to sit and read everything...just lookie at the pictures.

Now, only concern is how much those rivits are gonna mess things up...but it's probably negligable.
