Default Stillen Exhaust = Cat-back + Y-pipe?

From the pictures that I've seen of the Stillen exhaust, it seems that it replaces both the cat-back and the y-pipe. Is this correct? If so, it seems like the Stillen is a really good deal. I think I remember seeing that it had dynoed at 16/13, or somewhere around there, correct?

The stillen catback is a true dual catback system. It eliminates the y-pipe in exchange for a x-pipe with two pipes coming off the back of it.

Correct a mundo! But if you are wondering about weight, it is heavier than stock. The sound of the exhaust makes up the difference.

The exhaust leaves the catalytic converters in place though, right?

booger, you're not that impressed with the Stillen? I was actually searching around the site for the last hour or so looking for opinions/sound clips on the Stillen and Borla, and the Borla seems as though it has more of a muscular, V8-gurgle/rumble to it, and the Stillen didn't have that in the clip I listened to. Any of you guys heard the Borla in person, and does it really sound burbly/V8-ish in person?

Default Stillen vs. Borla

I have the Stillen, and I have seen dyno's showing the Borla lose power.

I gained 9 & 14 with the Stillen.

Just my .02...no flames please.

sure it adds weight, but its weight to the back of the car so it balances the weight of the auto more

the y-pipe is part of the cat back system...

the stock cat back system is made up of a Y-Pipe / Mid Pipe / Muffler.

The Stillen replaces ALL of the 3 cat back components of the stock system and replaces them with an X-Pipe / Resonator Pipes (mid pipes x2) / Mufflers x2

Borla sounds like stock exhaust.........in my opition, stillen is the BEST exhaust (sound and gain) even it's 10 pounds heavier than the stock. it's worth to buy period.
