Question Header vs. Test Pipe vs. Cat-back for Top End

My current mods are:
- JWT Pop-Charger
- Kinetix V.4 Plenum

Next I'm going to turn my attention to the other side of the engine, the exhaust. Obviously I have three choices here, headers, high-flow cats / test pipes, and a cat-back exhaust. The pieces that I'd like to pick up, due to performance / price, are the DC Sports stainless headers, Kinetix test pipes w/ resonators, and the Injen SES straight-tip exhaust.

Now, my question. Say that I change out only ONE of these three parts, and keep the other two stock. Which single mod would offer the most gains from 3500 rpm up? I should also mention that cams might be an option in the future, so which parts complement cams the best as well?

I wonder what the gains would be for test-pipes and a Y-pipe with the stock exhuast? Has anyone ever tried this?

Another question: What about getting just the headers and test pipes? Would adding these two together and leaving the stock exhaust yield more gains than leaving the headers and cats stock and getting a dual catback, seeing as how the price for either the combo or the cat-back is comparable?

most of the restriction of the exhaust system is at the headers/y-pipe and cats.
