Default Looking for thread on injen exhaust install.

I remember seeing a Daytona blue Z with nice install pictures of the injen exhaust recently.. I've searched and searched but I couldn't find that thread. Does anyone know the member's name?

Im not sure what you are looking for with the install thread, but I paid $50 for the installation of my Injen at a local Midas. It took the under and hour to do it. I believe it is rather simple. It just bolts up to your cats/test pipes. Then your mufflers just bolt up to the lines that went to the cats. Everything else just uses hangers. Oh yeah, there is a small metal piece that ties the 2 pipes together. Maybe this helps.

I've done the install. If you have any questions, you're more than welcome to PM me and ask.

It is pretty straight forward, though. Minor tools required.

Just did mine this weekend. Only hard part is getting the muffler off the stock rubber hangers. Then just follow directions and remember you have to move one of the stock muffler rubber hangers to the new bracket provided with the exhaust that goes towards the middle of the car on the passenger side.

Is it necessary to disconnect the battery so the computer can reset after install of the Injen? Any advantages of doing this?
