Y-pipe and Test pipes - Sound and Performance
I am looking for a combination of Y-pipe and test pipes to give me good performance with a non-raspy sound. I don't want it to be loud at low rpms, and I don't want it to be raspy. I was wondering what Y-pipe to go with, and I'm looking at what test pipes to go with, whether resonated or non-resonated. Thanks for any help.
we will be posting pics of our new y-pipe either today or tomorrow, followed by an initial group buy.
We also offer test pipes, and resonated pipes.
The test pipes generally are too aggressive and sometimes get the annoying rasp.

the resonated pipes are not as loud as test pipes and do sound raspy like regular test pipes. once my car is warmed up i think the test pipes sound sweet and are only a little louder than normal.
as for which are the best i think only labree motorsports and kinetix makes them. haven't heard much about the labree ones though. the kinetix work well for me.
