What size piping for the B&B? The price for the Fugitsubo Legalis R is nice ($580) but I think 3" piping may be to large for a NA 3.5 V6. 2.5" would be better to maintain low end torque.

The Fuji is 780 plus shipping from Japan $$, which will put it slightly over the B&B.

Well I went back to the other thread where I saw he had stated 780 and then saw hi correction that it was 580. Well the exhaust says 86,000 yen and using the conversion tool it comes to 718.282 dollars, then you add shipping to it, per their site it is 10 dollars per pound so this should be about 30 pounds or 300 dollars to ship, (per their site a bumper would be 800 to ship)!!!! So now you are at 1018.282. No too much of a bargain, and try to return it!!!! I personally think I am going to wait to see the Borla, I like them.

I agree that the shipping seems to make the Japanese parts expensive like that guy selling Top Secret stuff from Florida it just gets to the point where it is not justifiable to spend that kind of money.

I don't agree that all of the good stuff is in Japan, some items are not technologically advanced that warrant the prices that they want to charge, come on 1700-2400 for a Ti exhaust?? I think I'll wait for a good old USA product like Borla that will be at least half that, 17 pounds is not worth it. I will pay the money for items I want to make sure I get the right stuff like the ECU, but springs, exhausts, intakes.... NO, Nismo and others better get the message or they wont sell much, only to morrons that want to say they bought the japanese parts.

The problem we have is that the prices for aftermarket products are being based on the price of the car and assumption that if people were able to afford the car they can afford more expensive aftermarket products. The Borla system I bought for my 22K car was only 550 why can't the B&B or any others be at least 650 to 700???
That's funny, the GS400 borla exhaust I have (and the car is 59K dollars) cost me 450 bucks...Even the Lexus L-tuned exhaust is only 600 bucks.

I understand but the Borla exhaust for your Lexus is only the rear portion, the exhausts we are talking about are catback systems, for example I was comparing it to the catback system for my Pontiac which is listed on Borla for 750, I bought it for 550 from a parts store, what I am saying is that the Borla for the 350Z will probably be around the the same but at first it will be hard to get a lower price due to availability unless some one can make a group purchase, the pricing for some of the systems escapes me but we'll see.
