DOn't quote me but i believe the Crawford is best for FI. The Kinitix doesn't support it because its plactic i believe. Am i correct? Anyone else? Hope i was of some help.

The crawford plenum has been proven to operate to well over 18psi with no issues. Many SC owners have operated them at <9psi , agin no issue. With respect to the Kinetix , I don't think there is any data and with the history of old rev version cracking on NA setups, it isn't worth being the guinnea pig. IMO.

v5 was just displayed on one of the 350Zs in Turbo Magazine which was built with the Greddy kit.

There are multiple dealerships now installing it on cars that go through their dealerships. Included when customers are asking for FI, they are strongly recommending the plenum to equalize airflow.

First to market... and never replicated.

Enjoy!

You are not correct! Kinetix resolved it's cracking problems with V4. I have not seen a post on V4 cracking. In regards to Kinetix V4 Plenum and FI. I have better than 3500 miles on my Kinetix V4 Plenum and Vortech SC. NO problems!

Are you boosting >18psi? I doubt it . The V5 has seen boosted >16psi on several rigs for over many k miles. When the Kinetix provides this type of data then they would be comparable.

For those who can wait, not to steal any of Crawafords's thunder , the APS plenum will be out soon , perform at least comaparably to the V5 , be quieter, and not require an OEM plenum exhange. As with both V5 and APS the strut bar requires a remo or a relo.

Sadly the APS plenum will prolly steal the V5's lunch and be much, much more durable than the Kintetix. And for those concerned with heat soak. A simple TBC "ceramic" coating on "both" lower and upper plenum can add the benefit of plastic's insulative properties with the strength and sound dampening of cast aluminum.

Any idea of a price range on the APS plenum yet? So we would need a new STB with this one also?

at 16psi + I definately would not advise running our plenum!!

We will warranty our plenum on FI cars running under 10psi.

Currently we have about 8 customers wunning FI with our V4 plenums.

according to kinetix, they can warrantee their plenum up to 8 psi of use. the standard HKS setting is 7 psi. unless you go nuts with your SC, your existing kinetix should be fine. personally, if i didnt already have a kinetix and was going FI i would definitely go APS or Crawford just to be on the safe side.

The APS plenum is delayed. It does require a new strut tower brace.

That's why Kinetix is coming out with the F/I specific plenum soon (how soon, we don't yet know - lsd?) to handle any and all F/I applications... I'm just hoping it's going to be beneficial to N/A powerplants as well (because it looks downright nasty!)
