All in all ... he's gained 23hp, which is believable. Assuming 289hp starting point ... he's now at approx. 289 + 23 = 312hp range (at the crank). He'd likely shave off ~0.2 seconds at the 1/4-mile strip w. that gain.

THis is one of the strongest N/A cars (with basic mods) I've seen in a while...nice work.

Here's my mod progression ...
2004 G35 Sedan 6mt. All tests were performed at the same Dyno shop, technician, and machine. SAE environmental corrections apply. These are Dyna Pack readings, so it will not be comparable to the DynoJet outputs. Again, focus on the delta rather than the absolute figures.
Enjoy ...
1. Stock - no dyno
2. Add Fujitsubo Exhaust & Y-pipe + K&N Filter
3. add Kinetix Intake Plenum v.4
4. add Kinetix Resonated Test Pipes
5. add DC Sports Stainless Steel Headers
... since I've removed the Resonated Test Pipe, sighting too much noise for my daily driving comfort. A sizable power lost in the process
I then got the Technosquare ECU in the interest of improving my very lean AF condition. I was pleasantly surprised to have gain most of the power lost from the lack of Test Pipes from 3500rpm and beyond.
Dynoplot for the TS ECU to come later.

Wow 15hp from the plenum? This is definitely going to be one of my next mods. Even if it doesn't produce the 15hp and makes around 5, its still cheaper than an exhaust that might not produce anything. Thanks for the dynos THX

Keep in mind however ... I'm adding the plenum onto a sedan that was relatively stock (aside from the exhaust) and is alledgedly 20hp or so down on power compare to a stock Z. Therefore, your gain may not be quite as dramatic as mine. For whatever the reason, I know of someone who gained absolutely NO power across the board after such mod. Granted it was a Crawford, but I've also had similar gains w. the Crawford (HERE), so I'm as puzzled as anyone as to why that person did not get any gains.
Good Luck w. yours!
