With test pipes, it'll get a lot louder. Check to see if the rattle is not coming from the exhaust pipes touching the sway bar on the passanger side. I get that vibration sometimes within 1000 rpms, just for a second. I've checked on mine and there's nothing a can do to stop it. It's just to tight down there for that big pipe going through.

yup...mine rattles too at 2000rpm. irritating..but I tried everything..including insulation material.

I even replaced it with another Evo2 exhuast...and it still rattled a bit. Just deal with it. Its a great exhaust

double check the gap between passanger side exhaus pipe and the sway bar, should be pretty dawn close.

Do a search..someone I think posted a solution on how to fix the rattle . I get it when I hit bumps in the road. I haven't fixed mine yet. It has something to do with loosening the dual pipes , pushing them up and retighting them.

LMFAO!!!!!! Sorry, I'm perverted, but I couldn't stop laughing after I read this...

BTW, Sick - who is that chick in your sig? I could sit and watch that over and over and over and... you get the point...

I had rattles too after the install, but it was because the exhaust pipes were resting on the crossmember - I simply put a spacer between the crossmember and the body and used longer bolts and everything is quiet as stock now (the rattles, not the exhaust - it's loud and mean as hell with resonated test pipes and Pro-1 Headers - but I wouldn't change a thing!)

yeah, its probably vibrating against the cross-member thing (flat black piece (abt 5-7 inches wide and abt 4 feet long). i stuck exhaust wrap between it and the exhaust and that took care of the rattle.

I was going to do that also, but I could find anyone local that had any exhaust wrap in stock - and every where I tried to order it from wanted >$30 for like a 100ft roll... so I just put the spacers in there and lowered the crossmember and wa-la!
