I dont know if i still have my instructions. It is fairly straight forward though. The only difficult part was getting the plastic piece out where the tube runs through for the full intake setup. You should be able to see all the bolts you need to remove to get off the stock airbox, intake tube and stuff. Detach both of those from the MAF (black thing on the intake with wires attached) and lay the MAF on top of the engine block. There is also a tube you will have to disconnect that connects the intake tube to the back of the engine block, just disconnect the end from the intake pipe. If you are running it short ram, i dont think you need to take out that plastic piece where the hole is in front of the stock airbox. You have to be careful removing the screws to put on the injen heat shield and it is a little difficult to reach. Pretty much the reverse setup for install.

Come to think of it, i'm pretty sure there is an install guide on here with instructions and pictures from a member. Try searching for "injen" and "install", stuff like that. I was just trying to give you the basic idea of the process that i remember from installing mine.

thanks for your reply and help.
i didn't find anything on installing it.
they were all just removing the bumper and what not.
i'll just try to do it by removing the stock air box.

yeah it's not all that hard, just make sure you tighten all clamps and bolts and make sure nothing's rubbing against anything. Should be pretty straightforward, removing the front bumper helps a lot but is not necessary.

Yeah, i agree with above. I didn't remove the front bumper, i did remove one or two fasteners so i could move it a little but that was it, just have to work the thing out.

The install would have been incredibly easy for me but when i was trying to get the bolt out of the stock heat shield, the head got stripped (guess it was on too tight from the factory). So I ended up having to take it to the dealer and get them to get that bolt out somehow since I only had very basic tools at home. With no problems, this shouldn't take you long. I really could have sworn there was some kind of write up on this but i guess i was wrong. Good luck man. I'm sure if you do run into any problems, you can ask questions here and are likely to get the answers that you need. There are quite a few people on here with this CAI and many of them installed it themselves.

If you're refering to the splash guard underneath the car, no. You can reach the heat shield from the engine bay. Good luck with the install.

As far as i know it comes with all of them. that attaches to the MAF and then there is a 15"(i think) thin hose that connects on that tube to an outlet on the side of the engine bay. Are you having a problem or just curious if it came with all intakes?

Yeah, Mine was different I guess, i had the red/polished kit. I had all that you see there except i had the metal piece that had the piece where the hose attaches and then I had a thin long hose that was red that connect to the metal peice and to the firewall. the piece hanging off the red pipe you have connects to the stock tube that connects to the rear of the engine block i believe. I'm not sure what to tell you though.

I'd try and take some pictures and show you mine setup on the car but i'm at work. If you haven't finished by tomorrow and still need help, i will be at home and can take some pictures and try and help you out. You should still be using the exact same setup as described in those threads you just dont have that thin tube that connects the metal piece to the firewall. I guess you got one of the very early ones, i dont really know.

It looks like instead of attaching the hose to the small piece that attaches to the MAF like we have, the hose will attach to the main tube (see the nipple sticking out of the piece that says Injen) on yours.

i thought the hose that attaches to the main tube is the tube that attaches to the rear of the engine block...... thinking back though now, i really can't remember if we have a tube that comes off the polished pipe. I haven't looked at that in a while so i can't remember.

nothing worked out. had to struggle getting the front bumper removed. after installing it, i have few screws left...check engine light lit...and the strut bar won't fit perfectly...leaving me with 3 bolts that won't go in.

what do i do?

Did you disconnect the negetive terminal on your battery before installation? If not you probably just need to reset your ECU. Disconnect the negative terminal of your battery and let it sit for a while (like 20-30mins). Then reconnect the battery terminal and your ready to go.
