What type of filter do these use? How easy are filters to find now that Momentum is no more?

Thanks!

Well, I'm worried about fitment/clearance in the area that the filter is located with that particular setup. It's hard to tell exactly where that is going to end up since I've never seen one installed. For example, I'm pretty sure that my JWT popcharger's filter wouldn't fit in that spot.

That's why I'm asking the OP. Instead of making an assumption and buying the thing first, I'd like to have an idea of my options. I really like the look of the Momentum stuff and it's either this kit or the wrinkle black tube from Z1 along with my popcharger.

It's a longer, narrower filter than the JWT. It's a K&N filter, so I'm sure you can order one in the same size from any K&N dealer. I replaced my JWT with the momentum kit last weekend and was very pleased with the lower intake air temps. I posted my measurements in the momentum intake review thread.

Awesome. I'm thinking these will do better for mounting the nitrous nozzles. The fact that it's a K&N filter is really all that I needed to know since I just wanted to be sure that it wasn't some filter that I wouldn't be able to find.

Thanks for spoon feeding me guys! Sending a PM to the OP now.

Oh, OP is George? I didn't put two and two together. Sorry if my comment felt like salt in the wound, man. You know I wouldn't mean it like that. You should have a PM from me about purchasing one of the intakes. Hope you are doing well following the changes & hopefully we'll still see you at ZDayz and other events.

Op.....would you happen to know if the air filter with this momentum CAI the same size filter they use on their momentum single turbo? I read somewhere that the air filter dimension on the turbo is 5" x 7". Can you provide the dimension of the filter?

No. The longer pipe that connects to the TB comes right down to the air duct opening. There wouldn't be room for a filter.
