FS: Custom Stainless Shift Knob MINT
Hey everyone,
Had this custom made by WC Lathewerks, and with it pretty far off from the specs I asked for and far off from pics I provided, and after his brand of customer service, I found a different product and company to deal with after spending significant money for a very bad experience.
Was on my car for maybe a few weeks, and then took it off permanently.
**** is modeled after a Honda Type-R, is the brushed stainless steel finish, and has a nice decorative ring I designed at the collar's flare. The **** is very pretty, but isn't the shape or size I was wanting for my hand, so I'll sell it for a loss and let someone else hopefully enjoy this.
Price is $60 shipped, I paid $135.
Pics show the condition, they were taken yesterday, and in all honesty I think someone will really be happy with the ****, but after not getting the size or shape right, then being offered a re-do and then reneging on that completely while I was nothing but patient and friendly, always professional in my communication, and receiving a lot of attitude when I'm the customer, I just had to cut my losses and find someone I could trust to do business with. Very grateful to have found a shift **** I love, and hope you like this one for your own preferences.

Yes, he did nice work, I have no intention of demeaning him, but in a separate thread of requests for a second item I wanted, a custom insert for a wooden **** I was considering, I would send a nicely worded request for what I'm looking for and was just asking for a quote, and was told "here...this is what I'm making and that's that"...???
What he was going to make didn't resemble my request whatsoever. So that's twice he went his own direction against my, the customer, simple request.
I can post the email if anyone doubts me. What I did wrong by just asking for a quote for a simple design I have no idea...but I won't be making that mistake again.

Whoops sorry...almost forgot to answer your question
Weight is over 1lb, which I like a lot, it really does make a difference.
If you want an exact weight I can put it on a scale over at my parents' house. Actually I'll do that anyway, as others will probably want to know as well, so thanks for the good question, I should've thought to share that info.
