Up for sale is a Kuda cell phone/iphone/android/ipod mount for the 03-05 350z. I had this in my 2004 350z but sold that car and got an 08 which required a different style mount. If anyone isn't familiar with these mounts these look great in the car for a factory look. The mount has 4 holes in it already ready to go for use with s separate kuda bracket to hold specific devices. I am throwing in a shorty antenna for free in this sale.

You can either purchase a separate bracket for your specific device or just use velco. I used the separate bracket which you can purchase thru kuda or ebay for around $15.

Does the mount require the knee pad to install? I think I bought one of these years back and had to send it back. If it will work on Z's without the knee pad, I will take it. How exactly does it mount?

 

I'm not sure what you mean kneepad? If you mean the leather cushion thing on the bottom of the console area no it doesn't attach to that. Here are the instructions that shows what it looks like mounted and how to install it. This can be installed with just this mount. Nothing else is needed except the actual holder for whatever device you have or you can use velcro.

The third picture in the attachment shows the top tab mounting behind the cushion, right? I think that is why it wouldn't work in mine...no where for the top mounting tab to slide.

 

The top tab sandwiches in between the console that pops off. I'm pretty sure the mounting has nothing to do with the pad. Wish I still had my 04 to test it out for you.
