Hey jaE35z, thanks for the advice, its the first time i've ever seen a Nismo gearknob for sale for an auto before. You've gotta admit it does look in pretty fair condition re the leather on the outside, just wondering what sort of condition its like on the internal bore and whether the thread size is the same as for manual transmission gearknobs.

Wouldn't work for a manual i'm sure..i have one of these collecting dust in my car, it uses a bolt mechanism to sit still which wouldn't work for the MT. They do make momo ***** for the 6mt though

jaE35z, hey thanks again for your informed reply, i'm gonna keep my eyes open for this shape of gearknob as i really like it and you've perhaps saved me some cash if the vendor wasn't sure it'd fit and i went ahead and bought it only to find it didn't fit. Thanks again, just hope they make this shape of **** for the 6mt.

As for the ****, it'll only fit automatics.

People install these ***** on AT Z/G's. I believe i've seen a tread of someone installing the **** on a AT 370z as well.

Theres a DIY on here for detailed instructions on how to remove the factory **** and installing this one. Real easy
