Default weird stuff happening

So I reset my ecu by disconnecting the negative battery terminal on Friday night around 6pm. I connect it and start up again around 10am on Sunday. Last night Tuesday around 6pm I go to get chinese food. I start up my car and then it just dies. Every time I started it it kept dying unless I gave it a blip on the gas and it would sputter up to 600rpms. The temp outside was 45 degrees...but I don't think it could have been a cold start because I literally drove 5 miles to the restaurant after a 1 minute warm up in my garage. I didn't do the:

Accelerator Pedal Release Position Learning

Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning

Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning)

This Z is only running test pipes w/resonators (kinetix). I've heard of the same symptoms on other Zs when they swap out CAIs, but they reset their ecu and their problems are gone..it seems like my problems began because of the reset or because I didn't do the learning procedures? Help is very much appreciated.

Did your CEL come on during the reset? Did you just install the test pipes? 02 sensors are back in and not damaged?

Did you actually do the ECU reset or did you just disconnect the battery cause its not that same thing? I'm not really sure what the problem would be. Hopefully some more knowledgeable people will chime in.

Thanks for the reply. My CEL light didn't come on. Test pipes have been on for months now. The scary thing is that when guys swapped out their CAI, they would stall during driving and lose power steering, etc. This hasn't happened to me yet, but still...

could this be"blow back" from the test pipes? Am I going to have to drive my car without letting it rev down too fast after hitting high RPM's or get a SAFC feul managment piggy back computer to adjust for the blow back?

Should I reset again?

There shouldn't be a problem like that. I always unplug the battery when i'm installing something, but i've never actually done the reset. I probably just getting a reflash anyways.

Something is wrong if that is happening, you could try resetting i guess, but I would wait and see what some other people think.

And i'm not sure what you are talking about with blowback. If it was something from the test pipes it would have occured soon after you installed them, so i dont think it is related to that. If it just started right after you tried doing the reset, then I would assume something went wrong with that.
