squeaking? Yes when I am slowly moving in a parking lot. Especially in reverse. How many miles on your Z?

My Z made some noises when braking when I got to speeds around 20-0mph for a little bit and then it went away. I currently have 9k on my touring!

Yes, during the first 200 miles, the brake squeaked all the time. But not, it rarely happens.

I just got my Z around 2 months ago. The brakes squeaked like a b%^&h. They were new shoes and rotors so I gave it some time. The noise never stopped. I did some research on alldata.com and other BB services. The solution that worked for me was taking the brakes apart per the "change pad" procedures. Which is removing the top screw on the rear and bottom screw on the front calipers and putting on some type of brake grease. I got a silcon grease for brakes and put it on the tabs that ride in the calipers, between the shims and pads and on the caliper piston. Anywhere metal touches metal. Noise has stopped and the treatment is recommended in the Nissan Service bulletins on alldata.com. There was no grease put on at the factory. The pads, shims and piston were dry as a bone.
