Default Getting Bose Replaced by dealer....

with another Bose.

Finally got to be so annoying I brought it in to be exchanged for which I have an appointment to do tomorrow.

The 6CD player was beginning to skip too much and the sound would come out of the left speaker so poorly only to work perfectly when the radio was selected.

So if others are having this problem, bring it in for more warranty work!

I have had the same problem for a couple of months. Radio works fine but CD player is spotty at best. Will the dealer fix this under warranty?

Had the same problem too. They replaced it with a new one but it still skips. Usually within the first 10 minutes of driving my car. Then its gone. THis system sucks.

Mine skips alot, especially when it is cold outside and when I first start the car up. It gets "better" after about 10 minutes, and sometimes the skipping will go away once everything is heated up well. I have already had the radio/6 disk in-dash unit replaced once, although I kinda don't think they actually replaced it and just said they did. My car was very very new at the time, but now I have had it for almost 2 years. I just get tired of bringing it in, hell if I brought my 350Z in every time I had a problem I would use up all my vacation days at work, and then some.

Mine doesn't skip... It's much worse. It will usually work fine for a couple of minutes and then I'll hit a bump or something and it will cut off the left speakers altogether. Actually it's more random than that. It will sometimes cut out all the treble or all the base or just play out of one speaker or random combinations of the above. At first I thought that it was some loose wires but when I switch it to the radio everything works fine... very wierd.

Racer, your having almost the exact same problem I was having. Just bring it to the dealer and show them. Problem I had was everytime I brought it in, it would always be working. Eventually, they just believed me and had it replaced.
