Default Oil in the intake manifold?

Over the last few days i've been having some issues with my kinetix plenum and air leaks. Last night we isolated the leak to an area on the back of the plenum. When we pulled the plenum off i noticed some oil sitting near the area that i had the leak coming from. Is that normal occurance, or should there not be oil anywhere in the plenum/upper intake manifold?

Had the same when I last removed the plenum. Think some oil is ok coming from the crankcase recirculate into the plenum..
