Heres more pics and the story

4 lane road went to 2 lane with a small left jerk turn, on turn right back tire dropped off pavement, slid out, caught pavement went straight through ditch, over barbwire fence, into field....sucked...walked away though, lots of pain, stiffness, this was last tuesday, feeling ALOT better now.

That will buff right out just don't press the buffer too hard or you'll swirl the finish.

I wonder if that was some kind of defective airbag, either way I would definetly hire a lawyer and file a lawsuit.

Yup. Side airbags deployed when I slid sideways into a concrete rail on the highway doing 60.

Airbag technology and crash sensors are pretty advanced - - by reading the story line, it sounds like he didn't need the airbags to go off, he walked away - - believe me you don't want airbags going off unless it's absolutley neccessary - - seems like the sensors did their job perfectly - - I'm asumming he didn't have the side air bag option.

arent airbags designed to go off with any impact over a certain MPH. I dont think its as low as 5-7mph cause those are just simple fender benders in parking lots and such, but i would guess anything in the "teens" MPH should set them off. the car has no idea if you will walk away or not.

also i would think that they would work on some force ratio, cause of a sudden stop. maybe since his car kept barreling through things, never really coming to a sudden halt, that is why they did not deploy. dunno.

i would think the driver has a case for a lawsuit though.
