Default Need Help - Grinding Noise When Pressing Down Brake and Clutch

On many occasions, I will leave my parking garage in the morning, and when I go to brake while my foot is barely on the clutch, the brake makes this weird sound and feeling....almost like its slipping or grinding.

Does anybody know why this would happen?? Anybody else have this problem?

Thanks!

I have had the same problem with my 350Z since I got it in 2003.
I call it the "brake fart".

To me, it happens mostly when you have a fresh/cold engine and are coasting downhill and then touch the brakes.
My guess is that the hydralics are not fully primed yet, or something like that.

I've never really worried about it because I don't use brakes!

If the air is moist, the rotors might get rust on them. The grinding noise is the pads knocking the rust off.

Just had this happen for the first time in my '05 touring, it's about 34 degrees and I was coming down a parking garage ramp. Is this really nothing to worry about? It sounded/felt awful.
