Default Clunk sound and vibration when braking

I've got a 2004.0 Roadster with roughly 20,000 miles on it. When braking, just before I come to a stop and immediately after letting out the clutch, I get a clunk/clank sound that vibrates through the brake pedal. Sometimes I can feel it through the brake pedal, even when I can't hear it. Problem is it doesn't happen every time and when I try to make it happen it won't happen, but every other time it happens. I'm sure the dealer will say it's in my head until I can make it happen every time.

Any idea what it could be? I'm about to install an engine dampner and crank pulley set so I want to make sure the dealer checks it out before those are on.

Thanks!
