Default oil drain plug and washer

i'm about the do an oil change and the aftermarket oil filters like mobil 1 or whatnot come with a spring type washer.

are these okay to use or should i get the factory copper washer?

i just re-used my old one. Is that bad? It doesnt leak i might add (i checked).

reusing it once is probably ok. not to say that it will start leaking after that but the best practice is to get a new one since they're cheap insurance against possible oil leaks.

yeah i just forgot and didnt feel like finding another car to go drive and get it right in the3 middle of the oil change. Im a smart guy but sometimes i get retarded lol

oh well, the guy in the store told me the wrong thing. there was no washer.

i guess 6 bucks for factory filters isn't that bad. i think i'll just get those next time instead of getting other brand filters.
