Default manual way to open gas door?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum or not, but my gas cap release QUIT on me today when i was going to get gas, i'm at work right now so i'm hoping maybe somone can help me out.

When i press it i can hear a clicking noise under the dash, well right above wear the passenger's feet would be. That is also where the E01 is installed anlong with other things, if anyone else has any ideas PLEASE let me know!! thanks

Some times it gets caught on the gas cap cord. Just push on the gas lid and release it again and it should pop open.

I was just going to post the same thing. You may want to have someone stand outside by the gas cap and have them "open" it as you push the button. I got tired of hitting the button, discovering the cap didn't pop, go back in the car, hit the button again and go back to the gas cap. I felt like an idot after my 2nd or 3rd time so when I had my car alarm installed, I had them program my alarm remote to pop the cap. Works great!

It's a known problem - go to the dealer.

Mine acknowledged it and fixed it under warranty with a new actuator and an adjustment. It's been flawless ever since.

I believe there is a TSB out for this problem. Go talk to your dealer, they should check it out for you.
