Default Can't roll down driver's side window

I've been having trouble rolling down the driver's side window. I was wondering if anyone has come across this problem?

there is a TSB out for it...do a quick search and you will find out that this is sometimes a common problem.

I got the same thing going on with my 03Z. I got 16k miles so warranty is still good. Problem is it only wont go up or down like maybe 2 times a month. Question is how do you tell the service dept what to fix as I can never repliCATE THE PROBLEM. You think its just a switch or a motor? It usualy works after I open my door then slam it shut. BEN

Jason, Nope, not fixed yet because I had to go to work. I will get it fixed when I get home. I told my service dept guy, he said just bring it in we will look at it. Im worried though that they wont do any thing because its going to be a beotch to replicate. Once or twice a month my window wont go up or down, so all I do is slam the door kinda hard and then it works again. My CD player also like my red hot chili peppers so much It decided to keep it for itself. They will give me a new CD player when I get home. BEN

I had the same problem. When i took it to the dealer they didnt even hesitate to fix it.The tech knew the problem right away and replaced the motor. The only thing was he said because my windows are tinted it would void the warranty but he didnt tell the service manager i had tints so i got it fixed under warranty.I never heard of window tints voiding the warranty for window problems.

I cant believe that window tint would void a warranty, I think that service tech just told you that hoping you would give him a free reach around. hahaha

just kidding!! Hope to get my window fixed when I get home. BEN

See if you can create the problem like this:

Lower in steps, perhaps 1" at a time, but do it very quickly. Mine would fail occasionally but if I did that, it would fail every time. Just repeatedly hit the down button but not all the way. See if that works.
