Default Wheel damage while tire switching?

I took my 350Z to Nissan of Scottsdale to have the 2 front tires replaced as per letter received recently. In the process they damaged the outside of one of the rims badly. Has anyone else had this prolbem?

Ouch! Sorry to hear it, did they offer to pay? I am using them for some work Teus. Would you recommend going somewhere else?

Had the same thing happen at my dealer. they agreed to fix it. I can't tell where the gouge was after the repair. I know another guy who had them replace the whole wheel. Good luck.

Do not tolerate that sort of thing... at the very least, the dealer should pay to have your wheel refinished. Same thing's happend to me in the past.
For whatever reason, the dealers don't seem to use the right equipement to do the alignment.

This also happened to me there. I had them repair the rims. When I got them back you couldn't tell there was a repair.

What action have you taken to get the wheels repaired? Has the shop reimbursed you for the expense?

For me, the dealer took care of the whole thing. They found someone to come at their dealer to repair it. I did nothing except to point it out to them.

Same thing happened to my wife's Maxima, it was at Avondale Nissan for a 4 wheel alignment. I didn't notice it until I got home in Colorado. I was so furious, of course they denied it!

Yes. The OEM wheels have been on and off the car several times. The lug nut openings are scared because the mechanic takes the lug nuts on and off with a air hammer instead of taking his time and using a hand wrench.
