Need help w/ ruined rims...
I was wondering if there was any way to fix my rims? I totally F'd them up by spraying them w/ turtlewax wheel cleaner. I have some racing hart J5's and sprayed them w/ the wheel cleaner. I'm kickin my self in the *** for being so lazy and for not reading the directions on the back. Anyways the polished lip is all messed up now, it's all milky looking and looks like it has water spots on them. It sorta disappears when it's wet but it turns dull and white when dry. So did i completely ruin my lips or is there anyway I can fix them? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. DON'T use turtlewax!!! I called them and they suggested something but it didn't work. Thanks in advance.

the infiniti dealer just did the same thing to the volks on my friend's G35, after he told them not to wash it. They are buying him a new set. He took it to the wheel wizard, and they said they could strip, repolish and clearcoat them for $800, but they wouldn't look as good as stock, sorry

turtlewax wheel cleaner is potent...
and will “etch” stainless steel and chrome. I recommend to every 350Z driver who has spent $2,000 plus on aftermarket wheels NOT to use anything stronger than soap and water. I’m sorry about your wheels.
