Unhappy "Check Engine" light came on

I just filled up with gas, started my car, put it in gear, press down on gas pedal and NOTHING , aggain pressed down on the gas, and nothing, RPM' still at idle . Had to trun the car on and off several times for my gas pedal to respond. And now the "check engine" light is on.

Any ideas? How can I check codes?

throttle position sensor code possibly -

you can bring your car to autozone, the dealer, or get a code reader and do it yourself.

Make sure your gas cap is tight, hear the click-click. I think I ran into the same senario.

There are many choices:
I run PocketLogger on a Palm M125 (which is like a $30-40 palm on Ebay). They have a new pocketlogger designed to work with the Zietronix for dataloging.

Digimoto is a very common and used pocketlogger/code reader

These are the two that I would recommend, but there are many others

My '03 did the SAME exact thing. The dealer said it was the throttle sensor and associated computer. They had to order the parts and said it was dangerous to drive cuz it could stall. So they kept the car and gave me a free rental. Got the parts in three days and they fixed it under the power train warranty since my regular warranty expired three months earlier. I think i'll got the best service department in California (Torre Nissan). They've always taken care of me.
