Default MPH on computer display...Can it be made the default?

Just got my DB Performance, apparently temp is the default setting. Does anyone know if it can be defaulted to MPH on start-up?

I'm pretty sure that there is no defult and that when you start up, the setting that was last used will appear. HOWEVER. Whenever it is close to freezing, the display automatically goes to temp and says ICY. Just press the upper setting button and the setting that you were previously looking at will appear.

Correct. There is no default setting. It stays set at whatever you set it at. BobbyZ is right. When it is at or below 37 degrees however, the temp will be displayed and it'll say "ICY". If you then hit the silver button to again display the MPH, the temp number will disappear but it'll still say "ICY" until the temp comes up over 37.

This is correct. The default setting is the last used display unless there is a temp warning, low fuel warning, tire pressure warning, other warning... Unless something is wrong with your display which I don't think is possible.

OK, thanks, that makes sense. Since it has been in the 30's here, I guess I will see the temp reading on start-up until it gets warmer.

mine does this as well. actually, when the temp drops a few more degrees, the temp display will pop up again until you hit the button to clear it. this is annoying since i usually use the pod for my speedo

Same for my wife, she is used to the heads up on her GTP, and wants to use the pod for MPH on the Z. (even though we are in negotiations on how much she gets to drive it! -
I showed her how to change to mph with one push, so she can live with it.

Now, should I try to remove the sticker on the Nav door?? Glue? Clean up without leaving marks?

paulv,

the sticker comes right off, there is no residue left behind.
You should let her drive it whenever shw wants- my husband bought me one as my daily driver and I love it.

It came right off, no residue. You might want to do what I did, and stick it on the back wall of the nav compartment (if you don't have Nav, that is!)
