if i listen to music in the Z, the bass makes something on my driverside door panel rattle... i think its the ac vent... if it is the vent, what do u guys think i should do to fix it? its annoying the crap out of me.

 

What model 350Z do you drive?

 

I am not sure if it is the same but, I had rattles like that that drove me nuts. When I replaced the stock stereo system, my installer dynamatted the dash as well as the floor of the car and all rattles disappeared. I never really knew where the rattles came from but this resolved them all. Hope this helps.

You've just got to use process of elimination and keep putting your finger on different parts until you stop the rattle. THen you could probably put a small drop of glud between a seem or something to stop it from rattling. Just an idea.

 

i have a 05 track and some CDS have rattles

 

i drive an 05 enthu. i think its the ac vent on the door panel... but i duno about the whole glue idea. because i move the vent around

 

If you hold your finger on the vent piece, does it rattle? Does changing the position (rotating) help? Can you remove the vent piece by pulling gently?
