Hi everyone, I just got back into my car from checking the mail. I turned her on and noticed the exhaust tone was a little "lower" and "deeper" than normal at idle. I put her in reverse and it was fine. Then I put it into first and drove off and barely nothing! I stepped on the gas and no engine rev, maybe a good 200-300rpm and that was it. I sat at my apartment gate and let the car idle...it idled until it finally stalled. The SES light is on. I drove the car up to my apartment garage and it ran like normal but the SES is still on. I made the car sit for about 5 minutes to watch it to see if it was going to stall and it didn't. I have a 2005 with only 7,413 miles on it. Any ideas or any similar problems experienced by anyone out there? I'm taking her into the dealer tomorrow.

 

Sure enough, it was the TPS, dealer replaced the whole throttlebody and she's running fine again. I guess I was one of the unlucky few who had suffered with this problem.
