I Just Bought My '05 350z Roadster In July Of This Year. For The Past Couple Of Months, I Noticed A Clattering Noise. Now, Its Not All The Time, Only When I'm At Lower Rpm's.

For Instance, I Was Leaving The Gas Pump The Other Evening And Some Pedestrian Popped Out Of The Bushes...as To Not Hit Him, I Immediately Pushed Down On The Clutch And Pressed The Brake. At That Low Speed (8 Mph) And Low Rpm, It Made That Awful Clattering Noise- Kinda Like The Same Clattering Noise I Had On My Old 1993 Honda Civic (which Would Be Normal, Since It Is Years Of Wear And Tear On A Honda; But C'mon, A New Z? Making The Same Noise?).

I Brought My Car To Nissan On Friday, And The Mechanic Said That Its Normal, Since The Flywheel Is Designed Differently (thinner To Reduce Vibration) From The Previous Years. He Also Made It A Point To Tell Me That The Sound Comes From Keeping Your Foot On The Gas, While Pressing In The Clutch- At Lower Rpm's.

Has Anyone Heard Anything Like This? Is This Something I Should Worry About? My Friend Bought An '03 Z When They Barely Came Out And He Had To Have His Tranny Replaced In The 4th Month. Any Input Would Be Great, Thanks, Guys!
