Ok, I've done search after search, but I can't find any info on this. My '03 has a rattle coming from the plastic dash piece right in the corner at the junction of the windshield and the dash. I call it a "pod". In fact, if you tap on it, you can make it vibrate.

I've had two dealers look at it, complete with rides with the techs. Today after the latest "fix", it was actually worse when I got it back.

Is there an easy way to get this trim piece off? And after I get it off, what can I do to insulate it so it's not banging away all the time. BTW, it's worse when the car is very cold, presumably because the plastic is colder.
