i was at my local mc'ds yesterday picking up some big and nastys for 1$ (im on a budget since i need to put some new audio on my car) and when i open the window to pay get my order i hear a strange sound it sounds like a tick every 5 seconds or so tick and tick keep going it does it even when i shut my car down it sounds like it coming from behind the drivers seat underneath the car very weird the noise disapears if i have been driving the car for about 1 hour or so tho
you guys have anything like this?

you cant hear the noise if the windows are rolled up

 

Could be the cats cooling down or the exhaust. I can hear it when I shut the Z off and get out.

Its the exhaust cooling down...................

 

I second that....at idle they'll cool down a little after driving....just like they cool down when you shut down the car.
