Heater fan noise ???
Last night I started to hear a noise coming from my heater blower fan that kinda sounds like a baseball card in a bicycle wheel spoke. Of course it's not as loud as a card in a spoke, but it does get faster or slower depending on the fan speed. I called my dealership and they told me that my warrenty is up on 12/15/05.
They also told me that if it is the fan motor it would be replaced at no charge if it's completed before 12/5. But they also said that based on what I told them it could be a piece of tree leaf (or something similar) that could have been sucked into the front cowl and caught in the fan causing this noise. If that was the case they would then have to charge me. Should I just let it go and see what happens? Anybody with a similar experience ?

Sure sounds like a leaf stuck in there. I've had it happen on previous cars, usually all you have to do is pull the blower motor out and you'll find it right there.
I guess it's a case of how much buzzing sound you're willing to put up with vs. how much the dealer might charge you.
The blower unit is under lower passenger panel above whern you legs go. You'd have to remove it and I think the ECU to get to the motor.
