I took mine off and replaced it with a momo competition ****. You have to turn the **** counter-clockwise while turning the stem clockwise. You definetly have to apply a lot of force. If you don't apply any counterforce you will just end up turning the entire stem. I ended up using a vise grip on the stem and a pipe wrench on the shifter ****.

I'll be happy to as soon as I get my car back. I posted last week about my frustrations about crashing and not being able to get replacement parts. I should have it back by the end of the month.

Fantastic! I'd love to see pics as well.
I was planning on either a Momo "Cobra" or "Action" install, but I was concerned that there might be a gap left between the **** and the boot.
Any such problems on your install?
