Default Still have rattle under left windshield pillar

I've had the car to the dealer a couple of times now, but I still get a rattle when going over bumps from the dash piece that fits in the left corner where the top of the dash meets the windshield. Anyone have a fix for this or know how to remove this piece so I can stuff some foam under it?

I have a similar buzz .. but still can't get it fixed. Tried 1 time with the dealer. Still ... the same. I have almost resigned myself to accept what buzzes and what driver's window streaks there are ... not a big deal for me.

On mine, it's not a buzz. When I go over bumps on the road I hear it rattling, like it's loose. I just need to figure out how to get the piece off so I can stuff a bunch of insulation underneath.

I got the same one on the pasenger side. If I reach over and smack it, it is good for a while but eventually comes back. If you figure out how to take it off please post up.

OMG i have the exact same problem on the exact same panel! i HATE that rattling when im driving. its the only thing that ratles inside my cabin and ill just be driving along with my hand on that one panel just so it dosnt rattle. I wanna rip it off and put insulating foam inside of it or whatnot. keep me informed of what you do about it.

You are not alone, I too have that same rattle in my Z. If you put some weight on it, the rattle is gone. Mine sounds like something inside that dash is loose.

Hey guys, this is my first post and wanted to chime in...

I have the same rattle in my 2006, it sounds like it is near the center of the dash near the windshield.... but here is the freaky part.

If you pull the shift **** straight up while in neutral, it will stop rattling.

Try this and tell me if it works... then someone PLEASE eplain this?????!!!!?

Sorry, that's not the solution for my problem. It's definitely the dash panel by the corner of the windshield. If I reach over and hold it down, the rattle is gone. It makes the car feel and sound like a cheap 1500k junker :-(
