Default Am I getting Ripped OFF?

Hey i have a 2003 brickyard. The Front bumper needs to be repainted (lots of chips and a big scratch) and the rear bumper needs to be repainted (previous owner must have had it repainted and its a crappy paint job). So i went to a nissan dealership in pleasanton, ca and they referred me to a shop around town. The guys quoted me $1400 for both the front and back bumper completely repainted. Now this to me sounds VERY high. Any info/suggestions on where i can go to get it repainted and how what is a fair price to pay for this kind of job? thanks in advance guys.

i paid my local guy in town $120 for front bumper and greddy lip to be painted. Did a damn good job, he did have to do it twice though, he didnt realize that the lip came off the bumper and after it was painted part of the paint was missing on the bumper itself. he redid it no questions asked. i took it off the car and he picked it up. im saying you shouldnt have to pay more than $700 for front and rear bumper if they do all the work. 1400 is WAY too high. get more quotes locally.

good estimate ! i just got that quote to have the front and rear bumper repainted AND they are going to fix the dents as well.

I've had quotes of $1500 to remove/prep/repaint the the front and rear bumpers, and $5000 to repaint/minor chip repair/ my entire SB ZR. Your quote doesn't sound toooo far out if you get a quality job, a good paint match, from a trusted shop.

prep w/ paint should be around a 1000 for bumper and rear bumper. i was quoted 400 bucks to repair a crack in my moms rear bumper. the place offeres a life time warranty and garanteed paint match..
