Oil dipstick - Halfway between L and H, how much lost?
Last time I had an oil change was 1,200 miles ago and I just checked the oil dipstick today and it's reading about halfway between L and H. Can anyone tell me roughly how much oil I lost? I check right after the oil change and it was spot on at H. Also, is this something I should be concerned about?

How much oil do you think I lost if it's halfway between 'L' and 'H' and is this normal or a sign of an oil consumption problem if it's happening 1,200 miles after my last oil change?

but with it being cold my guess is you're close to where it should be.

I'll run the car until it's warmed up tomorrow and check again.
