Well, I'm sorry to waste a thread, but I'm overwhelmed w/ joy. I'm going to my friends shop and I'm going to change my oil for the first time. After extensive research and after all the advice from all our Z owners/mechaninc experts, I will switch to Mobil 1. I was going to switch, but I got a free oil change from my friends at the dealer, so I'll just wait until the 5K change...

Of the few sure things in life, I think Mobil 1 is one of them. Can't go wrong...

 

For those of you that are interested, everything went very well with my 1st oil change, very very easy, after the plastic cvr is removed..
