Default repairing RIMS or replacing?

so last saturday, some guy cut two lanes on the freeway and jumped into my lane while i was in his blindspot, and ended up pushing me onto an island. this tore up the sides of my left rim and his car scratched up the right rim. Bumper is scratched up (btw the 350z is pretty damn sturdy) and fender was pushed up by the bumper. not as bad as i initially thought but still ugly. so the question is... obviously i want to replace em but has anyone ever repaired/resurfaced their wheels at a nissan dealership before. I own a '06 so the rims are different from the previous models. the guy at the nissan bodyshop keeps insisting that it looks just the way it came after finishing. i'm definitely replacing the left but thinking of just repairing the right. wattaya think?
