Today i got a HUGE dent in my hood... a big..and i mean big rock flew up from another car and slammed into my hood... have a scrape about 2cm long.... and i can see the metal of my hood. Also when light lands on it you can see its dented.
How much would something like this cost to fix? On another topic how much would a CF (of a descent company) cost me?

I have some hail damage on my hood that's supposed to be repaired tomorrow, so we'll see if aluminum hoods can in fact be repaired or not. My dents are probably small compared to the one you're describing, but the adjustor knew the hood was aluminum and just added 25% to the normal paintless dent repair cost. His estimated cost to remove about 10 small dents on the hood is $300.. should be interesting to see what happens.

i had a huge dent on my side from an SLK 230...... he got what he deserved
but i took one of my mom's polish cooking tools..... it uses suction to attach to a table or something so it wont move.... and i somehow sucked the dent outa my door... not perfect but MUUUUCH better than it was (no paint was broken either)
now this one isnt that big of a dent but its there.... tomm i will see if i can get my hand or finger behind that dent on the hood and maybe push it slowly so that it would atleast not look as bad.
If its gonna cost me 300 to fix this dent and get the touchup paint thing done... i might as well invest in a CF hood.... idk
