Default Noise from the rear. Differential?

I just changed out my differential oil about 2 weeks ago, I had a local shop do it for me (nissan wanted to much $$). Anyways I used Mobil 1 75-90. Ever since then I some times get this howling noise coming from the rear when accelerating. Its not always, but it does happen quite often. Could there be something wrong? Or should i just replace the oil with different oil? If so, should i go with royal purple or redline? Both local enough to get... same price.

Thanks for any advice

Can't help you much but Mobil1 75W90 is a GL5 so you should be ok. I replaced my OE fluid with Amsoil 80W90 gear lube and did not have any problems.

ok, this sound happens at around 2k-3k RPM. It only happens AFTER the car is warmed up. Sounds like it is coming from the rear, but its very tricky to pin point it.

It almost sounds like its coming from near the exhaust, but its a higher pitch (different kind of noise, hard to explain)

anyone have any clues? I guess I should just take it in to the shop i usually take my cars to, and see if they can figure it out...
